This webinar will be hosted by English Australia and Professor Anne Burns, the academic lead of the Action Research Program. It will walk attendees through:

  1. an overview of the commitments for participants in the English Australia Action Research Program
  2. a brief outline of action research
  3. models of past successful expressions of interest to join this Program
  4. a live testiminial of a 2024 Action Research Program participants
  5. audience Q&A

Presented by:

Professor Anne Burns, Professor of TESOL at the School of Education, University of New South Wales and Emeritus Professor in Language Education, School of Languages and Social Sciences, Aston University, Birmingham, UK. Professor Burns has been the key reference person for the English Australia Action Research in ELICOS Program since the program’s inception in 2010.

Sophie O'Keefe, Head of Professional Development at English Australia. Sophie has administered the Action Research Program since 2015 and she is a member of the Action Research Program Reference Group.

The Action Research in ELICOS Program is run in partnership with Cambridge.
