English Australia supports colleges by providing access to appropriate professional development opportunities and professional networks for staff: the English Australia Conference, the English Australia Journal, professional development events and webinars, the English Australia / Cambridge ESOL Action Research Program and the English Australia Awards Program.
In addition to the Members’ Forums and English Australia Conference, staff at member colleges can network with peers at state and territory branch events and activities.
Being an English Australia member college also brings with it membership of the English Australia Tuition Assurance Scheme – providing confidence to students and their families and agents.

This category of English Australia Membership is for colleges registered on CRICOS as an ELICOS provider. Colleges must have been registered on CRICOS as an ELICOS provider for a minimum of 12 months.
Membership covers all locations listed on CRICOS under the same CRICOS provider code. One location is nominated as the primary site – this site is the Full Member with all the rights associated with this category of membership. Each additional site is categorised as an Associate Member.

This category of English Australia Membership is for newly established colleges that have been registered on CRICOS for less than 12 months and is only available for a maximum period of 12 months (at which time the college is eligible to apply for Full Membership).
Associate Membership – Access fees:
$2,500 pa (+GST)
The services provided under this category are designed to encourage professional development for newly established colleges, provide colleges with an improved understanding of the ELICOS environment, and provide networking opportunities within the industry for college staff. Colleges with Associate Membership – Access are not entitled to use the English Australia logo or access any other English Australia services. The English Australia Professional Affiliate (Institution) program was developed to provide an opportunity for non-ELICOS colleges involved in other forms of English language tuition, to engage with the work of English Australia, to participate in the professional TESOL community and enjoy professional development and networking opportunities for their English language teachers. Current Professional Affiliate (Institution) members include the providers in the Australian schools sector, the migrant English sector, Foundation Studies providers, English language teaching institutions outside of Australia, and other institutions that provide English language learning support to their students.
The services provided under this category focus on supporting institutions and their English language teachers in professional development, networking and opportunities to stay informed and connected with English Australia and the wider ELICOS community.
