From reflection to action: Empowering ELICOS teachers through collaborative learning communities

At the University of Adelaide’s English Language Centre (ELC), Collaborative Learning Communities (CLCs) have been established to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes. CLCs involve a group of educators engaging in ongoing, structured and collaborative professional development. There is a focus on enhancing teaching effectiveness and student outcomes through collective inquiry, shared expertise and reflection on practice, using data-response analysis to make informed decisions fostering a culture of evidence-informed learning and teaching.
